WHAT HADOL-5 TABLETS IS USED FOR
Haloperidol is the active ingredient of
Hadol-5 Tablets. It is indicated for:

Psychotic disorder – management of
the
manifestations
of
acute
and
chronic
psychotic
disorders
including
schizophrenia,
manic
states and drug-induced psychoses,
such as steroid psychosis. It may
also be useful in the management of
aggressive
and
agitated
patients,
including
patients
with
chronic
brain
syndrome
or
mental
retardation.

Gilles de la Tourette’s syndrome (a
condition that causes a person to
make repeated, quick movements or
sounds that they cannot control) -
for
the
control
of
tics
and
vocalisations
of
Tourette’s
syndrome in children and adults.
HOW HADOL-5 TABLETS WORKS?
Haloperidol works in the central nervous
system by acting on the chemicals in the
brain to produce an antipsychotic action.
BEFORE YOU TAKE HADOL-5 TABLETS
_When you must not take it _

If you have Central Nervous System
depression and Parkinson’s disease.

If
you
have
hypersensitivity
(allergic)
to
Haloperidol
or
its
ingredient.
_Before you start to take it _
You must tell your doctor if:

you have allergies to any medicine
which you have taken previously to
treat your current condition.

you are pregnant, trying to become
pregnant or breast-feeding.

If you have liver or heart disease,
convulsion and if you are an elderly.
_Taking other medicines _
