Date of revision WHAT KETO TABLET IS USED FOR KETO TABLET is used for short term management of moderate to severe acute after operation pain following surgical procedures associated with low risk of haemorrhage (bleeding). HOW KETO TABLET WORKS KETO TABLET consists of active ingredient ketorolac tromethamine. Ketorolac tromethamine belongs to the group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Antiinflammatory Drug (NSAIDs) which work by relief of pain, and reduction of fever and swelling. BEFORE YOU USE KETO TABLET _-When you must not use it _ Do not take KETO TABLET if: - you have history of hypersensitivity to ketorolac, aspirin as severe anaphylactic (severe allergic) reaction reported. - you have history of asthma, nasal polyps, angioedema (swelling of your skin) or bronchospasm (constriction of your airway). - you have history of stomach ulceration, stomach or intestinal bleeding. - you have bleeding disorder or operation with high risk of bleeding. - you have confirmed or suspected cerebrovascular bleeding. - you have moderate or severe kidney disease - you have hypovolaemia or dehydration. - you are pregnant, delivery or breast feeding - you are under the age of 16 years old. - you are taking other NSAIDs (painkiller), oxpentifylline, probenecid, or lithium salts. - you are taking blood thinning agent including low dose heparin. _-Before you start to use it _ Tell your doctor if you have or have had: - kidney or liver disease - ulceration, bleeding or perforation of the stomach or intestinal - fluid retention and oedema - bleeding disorder - undergo surgery - heart disease or stroke - high blood pressure - dyspepsia (di Baca dokumen lengkap
