Serial Number What Medidazole Chewable Tablet 500mg is used for Medidazole Chewable Tablet 500mg is used for the treatment against single or mixed intestinal helmintic infestations including pinworm, whipworm, roundworm, hookworm, tapeworm, trichinella and threadworm (strongyloides). How Medidazole Chewable Tablet 500mg works Mebendazole inhibits the ability of the organism to utilize exogenous glucose, interferes with generation of phosphate bond (ATP) ultimately leading to death of the parasite. Before you use Medidazole Chewable Tablet 500mg - When you must not take it Do not take this product if you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to Mebendazole, other benzimidazole derivatives or any other ingredients in this product. Not to be given to children under 2 years old unless recommended by a doctor. Unsuitable for phenylketonurics. - Before you start to use it Should not be administered during confirmed or suspected pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation as extent of excretion from breast milk is not known. - Taking other medicines Plasma concentration of the active metabolite of Mebendazole is raised when administered concomitantly with Dexamethasone, Praziquantel and Cimetidine. How to take Medidazole Chewable Tablet 500mg - How much to take Adults & children above 2 years: Take 1 tablet as a single dose. Can be chewed, crushed or mixed with juice or food.
