WHAT QUEST GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE
KCL IS USED FOR
Quest Glucosamine Sulphate KCl is
adjunctive therapy in osteoarthritis (a
condition that causes joints to become
painful and stiff).
HOW QUEST GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE KCL
WORKS
Glucosamine helps to form cartilage
tissue in the body. Glucosamine is also
present in tendons and ligaments. It has
lubricant activity by increasing synovial
fluid production.

Allergy to glucosamine sulphate.

Allergy to shellfish

Hypersensitivity to iodine

_Before you start to use it _

Glucosamine is a causal therapy and the
therapeutic effect can only be seen after
approximately 1 week from the
beginning. Therefore, in case of intense
pains, it is advisable to take an anti-
inflammatory drug in addition during the
first days of treatment with glucosamine.
Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you
have had any of the following medical
conditions:

Diabetes

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant,
planning to become pregnant, or breast-
feeding. Do not take Quest Glucosamine
Sulphate KCl until you and your doctor
have discussed the risks and benefits
involved. Administration during the first
three months of pregnancy must be
avoided.

_Taking other medicines _
Inform your doctor if you are taking
antidiabetic medication such as
metformin and sulfonylureas or
administering insulin. Glucosamine
might resulted in high blood glucose
level.
