Active constituent:
Each mL contains 100 mg Oxytetracycline (as hydrochloride).
Indications:
For use in the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to
oxytetracycline in horses, cattle,
sheep and pigs.
Directions for use: READ ENCLOSED PACKAGE INSERT PRIOR TO USE
For intramuscular or intravenous injection to the anterior half of the
neck.
Dose rate:
Short Acting – 0.03–0.1 mL (3–10 mg oxytetracycline)/kg
bodyweight.
Long Acting – 0.1–0.2 mL (10–20 mg oxytetracycline)/kg
bodyweight.
DO NOT use Long Acting dose rate in horses.
Withholding periods:
Milk: Short Acting – 96 HOURS. Long Acting – 120 HOURS.
Meat: Short Acting – cattle, sheep, pigs 10 DAYS, horses 63 DAYS.
Long Acting – cattle, sheep, pigs 14
DAYS.
Storage:
Store below 25 °C (room temperature). Protect from light.

TETRAVET 100 FLEXIDOSE contains oxytetracycline, which is a broad
spectrum antibiotic with a primarily
bacteriostatic effect against numerous gram-positive and gram-negative
bacteria.
Indications:
For use in the treatment and control of infections occurring in cases
of septicaemia, pneumonia, and
other respiratory tract infections, endometritis, mastitis and urinary
tract infections, caused by bacteria
sensitive to oxytetracycline in horses, cattle, sheep and pigs.
