WHAT UPHAMOL 120 IS USED FOR
Uphamol 120 is used to relieve mild
fever
cold
and
flu,
teething,
post
vaccination
reactions,
headache,
earache and toothache.
HOW UPHAMOL 120 WORKS
Uphamol 120 contains paracetamol
as an active ingredient. Paracetamol
works
by
inhibiting
prostaglandin
(hormone like) production and acting
on the body temperature regulating
center in the brain.
BEFORE YOU
USE
UPHAMOL 120

Do not take this medicine if your
child has an allergy to:

paracetamol
•
any of the other ingredients listed
at the end of this leaflet
Allergy alert: Paracetamol may cause
severe
skin
reactions.
Symptoms
may include skin reddening, blisters
or rash.
These
could
be
signs
of
serious
conditions. If these reactions occur,
stop use and seek medical assistance
right away.
This
preparation
contains
PARACETAMOL.
Do
not
take
Uphamol 120if your child is taking
other
products
containing
paracetamol.
Do not take this medicine after the
expiry date printed on the pack or if
the packaging is torn or shows signs
of tampering. If it has expired or is
damaged, return it to the pharmacist
for disposal.
If
you
are
not
sure
whether
your
child
should
start
taking
this
medicine, talk to your doctor.

antipyretic.
UPHAMOL _120_ with delicious orange flavour is well
accepted by all children, even the fussiest of them!
Its pleasant formulation will not irritate children's
stomach. Moreover, it is alcohol free!
PHARMACODYNAMICS
Analgesic: The mechanism of analgesic action
has not been fully determined. Paracetamol may
act
predominantly
by
inhibiting
prostaglandin
synthesis in the central nervous system (CNS)
and to a lesser extent, through a peripheral
