Closantel Plus
Mineralised oral drench for the control and treatment of internal
parasites, including persistent
activity against Barber’s Pole (Haemonchus contortus), and liver
fluke (Fasciola hepatica) in sheep.
Active ingredient:
1 g/L abamectin, 50 g/L closantel (as sodium salt)
with 0.5 g/L SELENIUM & 2.2 g/L cobalt

CLOSANTEL PLUS
Contains 1 g/L abamectin a broad spectrum drench of the macrocyclic
lactone group, 50 g/L
closantel (as sodium salt) a narrow spectrum salicylanilide drench and
0.5 g/L SELENIUM and 2.2 g/L
cobalt. It has persistent activity up to 42 days against Barber’s
Pole (Haemonchus contortus).
At recommended doses, this product is effective against sensitive
strains of the following mature
and immature roundworms and liver fluke in sheep:
Barber’s Pole - Haemonchus contortus
Stomach hair worm - Trichostrongylus axei
Black scour worm - Trichostrongylus colubriformis and Trichostrongylus
vitrinis
Brown stomach worm - Teladorsagia circumcincta and Teladorsagia
trifurcata
Small intestinal worm - Cooperia oncophora, Cooperia surnabada and
Cooperia punctata
Thin-necked intestinal worm - Nematodirus spathiger
Liver fluke - Fasciola hepatica
Lungworm - Dictyocaulus filaria
Resistance may develop to any anthelmintic. Ask your local veterinary
practitioner or animal health
advisor for recommended parasite management practices for your area to
reduce development of
resistance. It is advisable that a resistance test be conducted
regularly when using any parasite
treatment.

FERTILIZER, PRILL OR PRODUCT
WITHOUT CONSULTING A VETERINARIAN. DO NOT EXCEED STATED DOSE VOLUME
AND FREQUENCY. DO NOT USE IN
LAMBS UNDER 15KG OR 4 WEEKS OF AGE.
