sanitising solution that
becomes dirty or contaminated for any reason. Good dairy practises
suggest the thorough
cleaning and sanitising of teats before milking to avoid contamination
and assist in the
control of mastitis.

Use at full strength. Do not dilute. Remove excess organic debris and
fore-strip. (If water
is used, use a minimal amount and dry thoroughly with clean, single
service paper towel RLP APPROVED
before forestripping). Dip or spray cow’s teats with DeLaval Spray &
Dip RTU pre & post
milking teat sanitiser with emollient.
Allow a 15-30 second contact time. Dry teats thoroughly with a clean,
single service paper
towel.
Attach milking cluster.
When this product is used as a pre-milking teat sanitiser in automatic
milking systems,
ensure that excess fluid is removed from the teats before teat cup
attachment.
Post Milking Spraying or Dipping:
Use at full strength. Do not dilute.
Immediately after removing milking cluster, dip or spray each teat
with DeLaval Spray & Dip
RTU pre & post milking teat sanitiser with emollient. Apply an ample
coat to each teat up to
the base of the udder.
Dip: Use a plastic or other non-metal type container for iodine
solution. Clean out dip cup as
teat dip gets low. Do not top up the dip cup.
