Cleanser is ~ndicated
in:
Acne
vulgaris of the face and neck. For d~sinfection
of the skin (as a liquid soap). As adjuvant
to systemic antibiotic therapy
In treatlng septic lesions.
For external use only
Adults, elderly and

Apply directly or with moistened sponge to the affected areas and work
up a rich lather. Allow
to remain on the skin for three to five minutes, then rinse off
thoroughly with warm water and
dry with a clean or sterile towel or gauze. Repeat

(Afterwards use twice weekly)

Nol to be used in hyperfunct~on
of the thyroid
(hyperthyroidism), other manifest thyroid diseases, as well as before
and
after radioiodine
therapy for
hyperlhyroidism. until a lasting cure has been obtained.
It
should not be used for
4
weeks prior to radioiodine scinligraphy or radioiodine treatment or
thyroid carcinoma. Patients
with goiter. thyroid nodules, or other
thyoid diseases (especially elderly patients) are at
developing thyroid
hyperfunct~on
(hyperthyroidism) from the administration of larg
iodine.
Use on babies of very low body
Not to be used on patients on

should not cover for a long period large areas of the skin (e.g.. not
to more
than
10%
of the total body surface and for not longer than
14
days) unless striclly indicated.
Even after the end of the treatment (up to
3
months) one should look for the early symploms of
possible hyperthyroidism and

necessary the thyroid function should be monitored.
Special caution is needed when regular applications to broken skin are
made to patients with
pre-existrng renal insufficiency.
