No additional treatment is necessary during that time, even on heavily infested animals. Oztik begins to inhibit tick development within three days of treatment and may give adequate control of ticks for prolonged periods, depending on growth of cattle and the effects of lactation. INDICATIONS For the strategic control of susceptible cattle tick, _Boophilus microplus_, (including all known acaricide resistant strains) on beef cattle. CONTRAINDICATIONS Do not treat pregnant cows within six weeks of calving to avoid handling stress.
