FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF CRACKED TEATS AND AS AN AID TO THE
CONTROL OF MASTITIS IN
DAIRY COWS.

Cracks and sores can cause irritation which will affect a cow’s
performance and can also harbour
bacteria that may lead to mastitis infections.
HIBITANE ANTISEPTIC DAIRY CREAM will protect the teats from drying and
cracking as well as
promote the healing of existing sores. The Chlorhexidine digluconate
bactericide contained in the
cream will aid in the prevention of mastitis infections. HIBITANE
ANTISEPTIC DAIRY CREAM will
not taint or leave detectable residues in milk or milk products.
USE DIRECTIONS
BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN
NECESSARY, TO AVOID
UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN AS
DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.
TEATS: Apply a little HIBITANE ANTISEPTIC DAIRY CREAM to teats
requiring treatment.
Massage gently into the skin after each milking.
WOUNDS: Clean the wound and then apply HIBITANE ANTISEPTIC DAIRY CREAM
twice daily.
HAND AND ARM CREAM: HIBITANE ANTISEPTIC DAIRY CREAM can be used as a
hand cream
to reduce the risk of cross infections when handling mastitis infected
teats. It may also be used to
treat hands and arms before assisting calving.
