ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Neomycin (as neomycin sulfate) ……… 392 mg/g
(equivalent to neomycin base…………..275 mg/g)
INDICATIONS:
For use as an aid in the treatment of bluecomb or
transmissible enteritis in turkeys, bacterial
enteritis caused by Salmonella and _Escherichia _
_coli_, and enteritis associated with Chronic
Respiratory Disease (CRD) in chickens and
turkeys.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
_To reduce the development of antimicrobial _
_resistance and maintain effectiveness, use this _
_antibiotic prudently._
Mix 1 pouch (400 g) in 900 L of drinking water and
treat for 3 days. Then mix ½ pouch (200 g) in 900
L of drinking water and treat for 3 more days.
NOTE: Prepare fresh solutions daily.
CAUTIONS:
During the treatment period, medicated water
should be the only source of drinking water. If no
improvement is noted within 3 days, the diagnosis
should be re-evaluated.
Solutions prepared with this drug are not stable
for more than 24 hours and fresh solutions should
be prepared daily.
WARNINGS:
Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use
in food for at least 7 days for chickens and 14
days for turkeys after the latest treatment with this
drug.
When handling the product, avoid
inhalation, oral exposure and direct contact with
skin or eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE:
Store between 15°C and 30°C.
