DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. TAMMIT is used for starting up outdoor pools. If your pool is
indoors than Poolkare – BINGO B or COMBAT is more suitable.
2. Calculate volume of water to be treated and quantity of TAMMIT
required from dosage table. If filling
time exceeds 24 hours give half treatment when pool half full –
balance on completion of filling.

3. Slurry KG dose of TAMMIT in a plastic bucket of water and pour over
pool returns with filter running.
4. Operate filter for 4-6 hours mixing. Switch off, allow 12 hours to
settle. Vacuum any deposits to waste immediately to avoid staining.
5. Recommence filtration. Add top up water to skimmer with filter on.
6. pH control. Do not add acid till chlorine level drops below 1 ppm.
7. Dilute 1 part acid with 5 parts water. Distribute over pool returns
with filter on. Do not use more than 2 Kg of dry acid or 2 Ltr of
liquid acid in any 24 hour period. Maintain pH 7.8 – 8.0.
8. Total Alkalinity. Initial readings should be 140-160 ppm, do not
adjust until T.A falls below 120.
9. Chlorination. In new pools Trichlor, TICA or Dichlor, SDIC are
preferred with liquid chlorine to superchlorinate. Avoid calcium
based products initially.
10. At 12 weeks, aim for these readings: Refer to Poolkare “ULTIMATE
POOL HANDOVER” for ongoing chemical additions.
pH 7.8 and stable, acid requirement small and infrequent.
Total Alkalinity 140 – 160 ppm.
Cyanuric level 20 ppm. Total Hardness 100-200 max.
