POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Posology
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: One
vaginal tablet in the evening for six
consecutive days.
The vaginal tablets should be inserted deep into the vagina preferably
in the evening before bedtime
with the patient lying on her back with her legs slightly bent up.
The treatment can be repeated where necessary. However, recurrent
infections may be signs of an
underlying disorder that requires medical investigation.
Where possible, treatment should not be administered during a period
(menstruation) or should be
finished before the onset of menstruation.
In general, the symptoms of vaginal mycosis (such as pruritus,
discharge, burning) subside
considerably within the first four days after the start of treatment.
If the symptoms have not subsided
completely following treatment or if they have worsened, a doctor must
be consulted.
Note:
In the case of a dry vagina, it is possible that the vaginal tablets
may not dissolve completely. In this
case, it is recommended that the corresponding clotrimazole-containing
vaginal cream preferably be
used.
The vaginal tablets may be used only under medical supervision in the
following cases:

first occurrence of the condition,
